Kunstvoll gestaltetes Amulett aus Zinn mit eingravierter Dagaz-Rune auf der Vorderseite. Die Rückseite des Kettenanhängers ist glatt poliert. Maße: ca. 32 mm hoch x ca. 16 mm breit Innendurchmesser der Öse: ca. 5 mm Gewicht: ca. 7 g Der Schmuckanhänger wird inklusive einem schwarzen Baumwollband geliefert. Bedeutung der Rune Dagaz / Daeg: Entsprechender deutscher Buchstabe: D Konkrete Bedeutung: Tag Abstrakte Bedeutung: Licht, Erleuchtung Hintergrund: Runen wurden von den germanischen Völkern vom 2. bis 14. Jahrhundert verwendet, vor allem für Inschriften auf Stein. Die meisten erhaltenen Runeninschriften stammen aus dem wikingerzeitlichen Skandinavien. Interessant an den einzelnen Runenzeichen ist, dass sie nicht nur für bestimmte Laute/Buchstaben stehen, sondern auch für konkrete und abstrakte Begriffe.
