Motor burnout Use a multimeter to measure the ingress and egress of the defrost timer motor. If the resistance is small or infinite, it indicates that the motor coil is shorted or open. If the defrost timer motor burns out, replace it with a new defrost timer. 2. Mechanical component failure For example, if the resistance value of the defrost timer motor is normal, but the motor will be beep after the power is turned on, the motor will not run, indicating that the mechanical transmission component of the timer has failed. Open the cover of the timer and check for any dirt and wear on each mechanical component. If any dirt is present, carefully remove the dirt and wash the mechanical parts with alcohol. If there is wear, apply fine sandpaper to smooth the wear and remove the burrs; if the wear is serious, replace the corresponding mechanical parts. After the timer is repaired, turn the timer adjustment lever to see if the rotation is flexible, and use the multimeter's electrical block to measure the normality of each terminal. Once everything is ok, you can load it into the refrigerator. _x000D_
