12 Inch Durable Foam Speaker Surround

A purpose-built 300mm (12 inch) foam surround replacement, manufactured using a closed-loop foam compound known for resilience against oxidation and moisture absorption. Its cross-sectional profile ensures secure seating on standard cone edges while allowing full linear travel up to ±8mm. The material exhibits low hysteresis — meaning minimal energy loss as heat during rapid cone movement — supporting faster transient response and tighter bass articulation. Supplied flat-packed with anti-static packaging to prevent deformation during shipping. Compatible with standard speaker adhesives used in UK repair workshops. Tested on drivers operating in both passive and active subwoofer configurations, including sealed, bandpass, and infinite baffle enclosures. Ideal for restoring heritage systems (e.g., KEF, Tannoy) and modern powered subs alike.
