125mm Inflatable Drain Plug PVC

This inflatable pipe plug is constructed entirely from high-resilience PVC, delivering consistent elasticity and resistance to abrasion in wet, dirty, or chemically exposed drainage environments. With an air bag diameter of approx. 96 mm and overall length of approx. 170 mm, it inflates to reliably seal pipes up to 125 mm in internal diameter. Maximum safe inflation pressure is rated at 1.5 bar — clearly defined to support safe, calibrated operation with basic pneumatic tools. The airtight seal forms evenly against pipe walls regardless of minor surface irregularities, making it suitable for both smooth PVC and rougher cast iron or concrete-lined drains. Its reinforced body structure retains integrity after repeated compression and deflation cycles. Designed for practical use by UK-based tradespeople, it streamlines pressure testing workflows and enables fast response to leaks or overflow incidents. Common applications include pre-commissioning tests on new builds, isolating sections during retrofit work, verifying repair integrity post-blockage clearance, and facilitating CCTV drain surveys without full system evacuation.
