140mm Threaded Solar Filter Metal

This 140mm solar filter is built from solid metal with no adhesive layers or synthetic binders — making it durable, chemically inert, and eco-conscious. Its internal thread allows direct screw-on installation onto the outer barrel of the telescope’s objective lens assembly. It delivers uniform light attenuation for safe solar observation, supporting detailed views of sunspots, partial/total eclipses, and solar prominences. Compatible with all optical designs: Newtonian reflectors, Maksutov-Cassegrains, and achromatic or apochromatic refractors — provided the objective housing’s measured outer diameter aligns with the filter size (140mm in this variant). The package includes one composite membrane solar filter only; no additional accessories or adapters are included.
