1.5 Inch Flexible Bath Drain P Trap

Diameter: 1.5 inches (38 mm) throughout; total height approx. 9 cm — up to 40% lower than standard rigid P-traps. Weight: ~250 g. Material: virgin ABS polymer, grey in colour, UV-stabilised for indoor use. Package includes one fully assembled P-trap with factory-fitted silica gel gasket and 1.5-inch BSP-threaded connection. The flexible segment is reinforced with internal helical wire to prevent collapse under suction or pressure, while retaining full articulation. The P-bend geometry complies with BS EN 274 minimum trap depth requirements for effective water seal retention. Sealing relies on dual mechanisms: hydraulic seal (water retention) and mechanical seal (gasket compression). Typical applications: Modern UK bathroom designs featuring exposed waste pipes; retrofit projects where floorboards cannot be lifted; mobile accommodation (campervans, narrowboats); and situations where previous rigid trap leaks were caused by vibration or thermal expansion/contraction.
