16-Channel PWM Servo Driver Board with I2C Interface PCA9685 Controller

This is a built-in PWM driver with an integrated clock, using I2C communication. It differs from the TLC5940 series. No continuous signal transmission is required, freeing up microcontroller resources. It is 5V compatible and can be controlled by a 3.3V microcontroller. The output supports up to 6V (suitable for white or blue LEDs). Six address-select pins allow up to 62 driver boards on a single I2C bus, providing up to 992 PWM outputs. PWM frequency is adjustable up to approximately 1.6 kHz. Offers 12-bit resolution, enabling 4 µs timing resolution at a 60 Hz update rate. Supports configurable push-pull or open-drain outputs. Includes an output enable pin to disable all outputs simultaneously. Features the PCA9685 IC mounted centrally on the board. Includes power input terminals and a green power indicator LED. Designed with four 3-pin connectors to accommodate up to 16 servo motors (servo plugs fit standard 0.1-inch pitch headers). Input reverse polarity protection is provided at the terminal block. Cascadable design. A large capacitor is recommended on the V+ line for stable operation. A 220-ohm series resistor is included on each PWM output line for LED driving and output protection.
