188F Generator 6-Wire Start Switch

A purpose-built ignition switch for 188F-based portable and standby gas generators rated between 2.5 kW and 6.5 kW. Weighs 115 g and features a compact cylindrical form factor (22 mm diameter × 38 mm depth) with M16 threaded mounting collar. Terminals accept up to 0.75 mm² wire; all six leads are PVC-insulated and tinned-copper stranded for flexibility and corrosion resistance. Internally, the switch uses silver-alloy contacts rated for 12 V DC, 15 A resistive load — sufficient for starter solenoid coils and magneto kill circuits. Compatible with common 188F variants including FD188F, R188F and similar OEM models used in UK/EU-market generators.
