2-Inch NPT Stainless Suction Strainer

Engineered for durability and compatibility, this water pump inlet strainer is fabricated from high-grade stainless steel — delivering exceptional resistance to rust, corrosion, and mechanical wear in demanding freshwater, irrigation, and dewatering environments. Physical specifications include an inner thread size of approximately 2 inches (50.8 mm), inner thread diameter of ~2.31 inches (58.67 mm), overall diameter of ~5.9 inches (150 mm), and height of ~4.13 inches (105 mm). Its round-hole filtration geometry supports unrestricted water flow while intercepting larger particulates at the suction point. The internal NPSH threading ensures reliable engagement with common NPT and NPSH male pipe fittings, making it suitable for direct attachment to submersible, centrifugal, or surface water pumps. As a monolithic component with no fasteners or moving parts, installation is tool-free and intuitive — simply screw it onto the pump’s inlet pipe and begin operation.
