This pack contains two identical EDR2RXD1-compatible refrigerator water filters, designed as direct replacements for Whirlpool-branded units. Compatible models include EDR2RXD1, W10413645A, W10413645, and full WRF989SDA series (WRF989SDAB, WRF989SDAE, WRF989SDAF, WRF989SDA, WRF989SDAM, WRF989SDAW), plus P6WB2L, P6WB2N and LP6RFWB2 refrigerators. Dimensions follow OEM EDR2RXD1 specifications (±1–3 cm tolerance due to manual measurement). Made with NSF-certified filtration media (where certified per model variant) and food-contact-safe housing materials. Each filter targets chlorine, odours, sediment, rust, scale and heavy metals while maintaining essential mineral content. Improves water clarity, taste and ice quality — especially valuable where mains water has variable hardness or seasonal chlorine spikes, as seen across many UK regions. Installation requires no tools: simply locate the filter housing (typically inside the fridge’s upper right corner or rear grille), twist out the old unit, insert the new one and lock into place. Recommended replacement interval is every 6 months or after approx. 300 gallons — whichever occurs first — to maintain peak performance and prevent bacterial buildup behind the filter media.
