20A High Current DC LC EMI Filter

This high-current DC EMI filter measures 42 mm × 77 mm × 1.6 mm and is fabricated on a double-sided FR4 PCB. It supports up to 20A continuous DC current at voltages up to 50V. The internal design features three coordinated filtering elements: an initial LC stage for coarse harmonic removal, a central common mode choke using two FeSiAl magnetic rings, and a final LC stage for residual noise attenuation. Capacitor array consists of two 50V 470µF electrolytic capacitors, two 100nF film capacitors and one 470pF film capacitor. High-current traces are kept as short and wide as possible to reduce voltage drop, improve thermal performance and limit electromagnetic radiation from the board itself. Ideal for cleaning power supplied to car amplifiers, LED lighting drivers, GPS modules and other electronics susceptible to electromagnetic interference in automotive or off-road vehicle applications. Includes 7.62mm pitch 2-pin and 3-pin screw terminals. Component colouring and physical layout may differ slightly across manufacturing lots without affecting operation.
