2.2 Inch Bend-Sensitive Flex Sensor

Dimensions: 7.5 x 1 x 1 cm. Weight: lightweight ABS construction. Resistance range: 9 kΩ (straight) to 22 kΩ (180° bend), with nominal straight resistance of 25 kΩ ±30%. Bending life exceeds 1 million cycles. Operating temperature: −35°C to +80°C. Interface: 2-pin 0.1-inch pitch metal pins. Rated power: 0.5 W (max 1 W). Output is analog, proportional to bend angle — ideal for precise motion detection in wearable electronics. This flex sensor converts mechanical bending into measurable resistance changes: resistance increases predictably with bend angle (e.g. ~9 kΩ at rest, ~14 kΩ at 90°, ~22 kΩ at 180°). Designed for integration into electronic gloves, manipulator interfaces, and human–machine interaction systems where directional bend sensing is required. Use case guidance: Mount with the labelled side facing inward during bending; avoid applying force or bending at the pin area to prevent damage. Compatible with standard microcontroller ADC inputs (e.g. Arduino, Raspberry Pi Pico) for real-time analog signal capture.
