2200W Rated SCR Dimmer Regulator

Dimensions: 84.8 x 70 x 40 mm (excluding knobs and terminals). Maximum instantaneous resistive load: 5000W; however, for reliable continuous use at room temperature, the manufacturer recommends limiting resistive load to 2200W. Efficiency exceeds 90%. Output voltage adjustable from AC 0–220V — zero-voltage turn-off achievable when reducing from high; minimum starting point when increasing from low is approximately 20V. Uses high-temperature FR-4 PCB substrate and a silver-finished metal housing. Input voltage: AC 220V only. This regulator employs silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) technology for phase-controlled AC voltage reduction. It is primarily intended for resistive applications including electric heating wires, incandescent bulbs, and similar loads. While many single-phase AC induction motors may function with it, motor compatibility is not assured and depends on motor design, starting torque, and load inertia. Common applications include benchtop heater control in labs or workshops, vintage-style lamp dimming circuits, DIY kiln or furnace temperature staging, and educational electronics projects requiring hands-on AC power modulation.
