2x Magnesium Anode Rods 1/2in Thread

Two 4.5-inch (115 mm) magnesium anode rods, each with 0.5-inch (13 mm) diameter and standard 1/2-inch NPT threading. Designed as direct replacements for RV water heaters using part number 11553, they rely on galvanic action to draw corrosive agents — such as dissolved oxygen, chloride, and sulphate ions — away from the tank’s interior surface. The magnesium alloy outer layer gradually depletes over time, preserving the structural integrity of steel or aluminium tanks. Includes one roll of PTFE thread tape (colour varies) to support leak-free installation. Intended solely for use in water heaters with accessible threaded anode ports; not suitable for sealed or welded tanks. Minor cosmetic variance between batches does not affect function or safety.
