Product Description: The Dr. Stähler fly trap helps keep patios, gardens, playgrounds, etc., free of annoying flies. A special attractant lures flies into the trap body, from which they cannot escape. Keeping flies away is important because they can also transmit pathogens. Application: For: Flies, other insects. Features: Environmentally friendly, non-toxic protein solution; easy handling of the monitoring trap; effective for 6 weeks; for standing or hanging. Instructions for Use: Open the fly trap by turning the lid, pour warm water (600 ml) up to the mark at the right end of the label over the water-soluble bait sachet already inside the trap body, and close it. Then simply pull up the top part of the lid and hang the trap, ideally in a warm, sunny location. The attractant is activated by UV radiation within 2-3 days. After 8 weeks (the warning color of the attractant should be visibly faded), refill with new attractant (refill pack available). In case of significant evaporation due to high ambient temperatures (which may cause premature fading of the warning color), the trap body may need to be refilled sooner. Bees and other beneficial insects are not actively attracted by the attractant. Use only as directed. For optimal effectiveness, it is recommended to use 3 traps, each approximately 5 meters from the area to be protected. Hang or place the traps, ideally in a warm and sunny location. The Dr. Stähler fly trap is effective for up to 8 weeks. The water level in the trap should be checked regularly to maintain the product's effectiveness. Once the trap is filled with dead flies, it can be removed or replaced as needed. Application period: April to September.
