Prevents humming due to ground loops in the rack. Metal rack rails contribute to the creation of ground loops between the individual 19 devices. This is the most common cause of humming sounds. Humfrees interrupt these ground loops. The devices are fastened to the rack rails while electrically separated from each other. The front plates of the devices are protected from assembly damage
