30cm Heat-Resistant Graphite Stir Rods

Each graphite stir rod is approximately 30 cm long and 0.8 cm in diameter, made from high-purity, high-density, fine-particle graphite. It exhibits excellent heat resistance, thermal conductivity, electrical resistance, and natural lubricity — retaining its physical and chemical properties even under sustained contact with molten metal. Commonly used in jewellery casting, precious metal refining, and small-scale metal recycling, these rods are effective for stirring molten gold, silver, copper and aluminium. Prior to use, preheat rods to ~500°F (260°C) for 5 minutes, attach securely to a wooden handle for safe manipulation, and always wear heavy-duty crucible gloves to protect against radiant heat and splashes.
