35mm Carbide Forstner Bit Hinge Jig

This hinge jig set includes three 35mm forstner drill bits made from premium carbide — offering high hardness, resistance to deformation and corrosion. The guide template is constructed from durable, lightweight ABS plastic for long-term use and easy portability. Each bit features a centre-pointed tip for sharper, cleaner cuts in timber, plywood and veneer. A detachable depth-limiting baffle and clear scale ensure precise, repeatable drilling depth. The red positioning plate (35mm / 1.4 inch hole) is used solely for marking the hinge location — it must be removed before drilling. The 'V'-shaped locator references the edge of the workpiece to prevent hole shifting during marking. Ideal for concealed hinge installation on cabinets, furniture and mounting plates — especially helpful for DIY beginners needing accuracy without prior experience.
