Each filter measures approximately [not specified in source] and is constructed from ABS plastic. Designed for use with Protec humidifiers V4600, V5100 and VUL575 models, these demineralisation cartridges help reduce airborne mineral particles. They operate by capturing dissolved minerals from tap water before vapour release, thereby minimising white dust accumulation on furniture, electronics and surfaces. Replacement is recommended every 2–4 weeks or after 15–30 tank fillings under typical household use; also advised after prolonged non-use. Installation requires emptying the water tank, inserting the cartridge into the reservoir, replacing the tank, and waiting 15 minutes for initial water saturation before restarting the unit.
