3Pack PDC51V1 Mineral Trap Filter

A 3-unit pack of ABS-built demineralisation cartridges compatible with Protec V4600, V5100 and VUL575 humidifiers. These filters function as mineral traps — selectively retaining dissolved calcium, magnesium and carbonate ions from tap water prior to mist generation. This process lowers the mineral load released into indoor air, mitigating white dust formation on horizontal surfaces and electronic devices. Recommended replacement interval is every 2–4 weeks or after 15–30 full tank uses. When restarting after >72 hours of inactivity, a new cartridge is advised to ensure full absorption capacity. Installation involves draining the tank, placing the filter upright in the reservoir chamber, reattaching the tank, and allowing 15 minutes for water to fully saturate the media before operation.
