Open the packaging along the perforation and pull the COMPO caterpillar glue ring through. Cut the caterpillar glue ring to the size of the trunk circumference plus 3 cm. The glued green side must face outwards, not towards the trunk. Place the glue ring around the tree, peel off approximately 5 cm of the white protective film, and stick the other end onto it. Now you can completely remove the protective film. Additionally, secure the glue ring with the binding wire at the top and bottom (it must fit snugly). If the tree is held by a support post, you should also attach a glue ring below the trunk tie. Regularly remove any leaves stuck to the glue ring, as these can serve as a bridge for pests.
