A 50 cm passive adapter linking a 32A CEE male plug (red, 400V 3-phase) to a 16A CEE female socket (blue, 400V 3-phase). Built with reinforced plastic casing certified to IP44 standard — tested against solid object ingress (>1 mm) and water splashing from any orientation. Voltage rating: 400 V AC, 3-phase only. No neutral or earth switching — maintains full 5-pin configuration (L1/L2/L3/N/PE) end-to-end. Colour: black housing with red plug segment. Engineered for direct, code-compliant adaptation between fixed 32A site supplies and portable 16A machinery. Supports continuous duty within thermal limits of both connector types. Not intended for single-phase use or voltage transformation. Commonly deployed across UK construction zones, farm machinery sheds, hire fleet depots, and temporary event power systems — where rapid reconfiguration between power tiers is routine but safety and standardisation cannot be compromised.
