40x40mm Semiconductor Peltier Module

This thermoelectric cooler measures 40 mm × 40 mm × 3.8 mm and uses semiconductor-based thermoelectric technology. It is fully potted with standard 704 silicone rubber for edge sealing and environmental resilience. Operates on 12 V DC (maximum 15.5 V), drawing approximately 5 A at rated voltage. Internal resistance is specified at 2.4–2.7 Ω (measured at 23 ±1°C, 1 kHz AC). Maximum cooling capacity (Qcmax) reaches 45 W; maximum temperature difference (ΔTmax) exceeds 61°C when no heat load is applied. Mounting pressure must be maintained at 85 N/cm² for efficient heat transfer and device longevity. Ambient operating range spans -55°C to +83°C — but practical cooling output diminishes significantly above 35°C ambient temperature due to fundamental thermoelectric limitations. Leads are 100 ±5 mm RV-standard single-core wires, tin-plated for solderability and oxidation resistance. Contents: one TEC1-12705 module only.
