This is the E22-400T30D LoRa wireless serial transceiver module built around a dedicated RF chip, supporting UART interface and TTL-level logic compatible with both 3.3 V and 5 V microcontrollers. It operates across a broad 410.125–493.125 MHz ISM band, utilising LoRa spread spectrum technology for robust long-range performance. Output power is fixed at 30 dBm (1 W), and connection options include spring terminals or SMA antenna interface. Packet transmission duration ranges from 26 to 27 seconds depending on data size, coding rate, and spreading factor settings. Key embedded features include over-the-air wake-up capability, carrier activity detection (CAD) for efficient channel sensing, and automatic repeater functionality. Its relay networking logic allows seamless multi-hop forwarding — enabling coverage extension far beyond single-hop limits while maintaining transparent serial bridging. Multiple such networks can operate concurrently in overlapping zones thanks to LoRa’s orthogonal chirp design and flexible parameterisation. Target applications include agricultural telemetry, water metering in underground vaults, mining site monitoring, and distributed environmental sensors — all scenarios demanding resilience against noise, distance, and deployment simplicity.
