5-Piece Carbide Grooving Cutter Set

A focused set of five round end mills intended for accurate groove creation and surface profiling in wood-based materials. Each bit features a YG6 tungsten carbide cutting tip fused to a 45 steel shank measuring exactly 8 mm in diameter. Available cutting diameters are 12 mm, 16 mm, 19 mm, 22 mm and 25 mm — selected to match common UK construction and furniture dimensions. Used successfully in door manufacturing, staircase component preparation, signage fabrication and bespoke joinery. Works with both modern digital routers and traditional hand-fed equipment found in small UK workshops.
