5+3 Speed Toggle Switch for 12V Outboards

Physical size: 4.9 x 5.7 x 7.8 cm (1.93 x 2.24 x 3.07 inches). Operates at 12V DC only. Verified compatibility with motors rated 28 lb, 36 lb, 40 lb, 50 lb, 60 lb, 68 lb and 86 lb thrust. Enclosure: Flame-retardant plastic; internal wiring: insulated stranded copper. Designed for repeated switching cycles and stable contact resistance across ambient temperatures up to 60°C. Engineered as a direct functional replacement — replicates OEM switching logic and pinout configuration. No learning curve: forward speeds increase progressively left-to-right; reverse speeds occupy separate right-side positions. Terminals labelled for intuitive wiring (e.g., B+, F1–F5, R1–R3). Used by UK leisure boaters seeking predictable, low-maintenance speed control on electric-assist tenders, canal cruisers and quiet-water exploration craft. Ideal for users upgrading from basic on/off setups or replacing failed factory switches without changing entire motor harnesses.
