BMP180 is a high-precision, compact, ultra-low-power pressure sensor suitable for mobile devices and Arduino projects. Absolute accuracy can reach 0.03 hPa; operating current is only 3 μA. The BMP180 features an 8-pin leadless ceramic package and interfaces directly with various microcontrollers via I2C. Pressure range: 300–1100 hPa (corresponding to altitudes from +9000 m to −500 m). Applications include GPS navigation, indoor/outdoor navigation, fitness and health monitoring, weather monitoring, and vertical speed indication.
