5V 5A High-Efficiency Buck Module

Ultra-compact DC-DC step-down module (approx. 63 x 53 x 20 mm / 2.48 x 2.08 x 0.78 inches) with hybrid ABS and stainless steel enclosure designed for durability and effective thermal management. Accepts wide-range DC input from 11 V to 35 V—fully interoperable with common 12 V and 24 V power sources—and produces a tightly regulated 5 V output with ±1.5% precision. Rated for continuous 5 A output (25 W maximum), it powers demanding loads including embedded computers, multi-port USB hubs, LED arrays and Peltier coolers. Peak conversion efficiency reaches 95%, resulting in minimal waste heat and extended component lifespan. No-load current is only 0.01 A, supporting energy-conscious designs. Output voltage stability is maintained with ≤50 mVp-p ripple. All electronic components—including power MOSFETs, filtering capacitors and control resistors—are surface-mounted using automated SMT processes for high density, repeatability and reliability. Integrated safeguards cover overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, short-circuit and reverse-output connection—ensuring safe deployment across variable operating conditions. Approved for ambient temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. Widely adopted in 3D printer control electronics, factory floor HMIs, university lab experiment rigs, perimeter security sensors, compact refrigeration units and IoT air quality analyser platforms incorporating fans, CO₂ sensors and Wi-Fi modules.
