6" Sturdy Adjustable Gate Support Kit

This gate support kit comprises a single 6-inch diameter wheel built with a rigid steel mounting plate and dense, wear-resistant rubber tyre. The steel is protected by electro-galvanisation (zinc plating) and a secondary protective coating to resist rust and chipping. Approximate weight: 2.8 kg. Max supported load: 500 lbs (227 kg). The U-bolt mounting system accommodates round gate frames sized 1-5/8" to 2" (41–51 mm) OD. Vertical lift range: up to 8-1/4" (21 cm). Installation is straightforward: attach to the gate’s lower rail using provided hardware, adjust tilt for full ground contact, then tighten U-bolt nuts to lock position. No cutting, welding, or specialist tools needed. Used across diverse UK applications — from smallholdings and stables to townhouse courtyards and retirement community access gates — wherever manual gate operation has grown laborious due to weight, friction, or terrain challenges.
