600ml 1600ml Stainless Double Boiler

A functional, two-tier stainless steel double boiler system comprising a 600ml upper pot and a 1600ml lower pot, both constructed from premium 18/8 stainless steel for lasting corrosion resistance and non-reactive performance. Total assembled height is approx. 16 cm; nested storage height is approx. 12 cm. The 600ml pot has a 14 cm top opening and smooth rolled rim; the 1600ml pot features reinforced sidewalls and a wide, stable base. Heat-resistant silicone handle wraps the upper pot’s side; a silicone front hook ensures alignment. Dual pour spouts facilitate left- or right-handed use. Includes one high-grade silicone spatula with bevelled edge and moderate flexibility for mixing, folding, and scraping. Designed around the physics of indirect heating: water in the base pot produces saturated steam that rises and envelops the base of the upper pot, transferring heat gradually and uniformly — perfect for temperature-sensitive applications such as melting dark chocolate (avoiding graininess), reheating dairy-based sauces (preventing curdling), or preparing soy or beeswax candles (ensuring even melt pools). No open flame or hotplate contact with the upper pot means no hotspots or scorching. All parts comply with UK food-contact regulations. No painted finishes, no glued components, no BPA-containing plastics — just pure, recyclable stainless steel and FDA-grade silicone.
