72-Hour DC Power Cycle Timer

Form factor: Inline DC power cable; Length: Standard (unspecified, typical ~1.2m); Weight: Light; Connectors: 5.5×2.1 mm female (input) and 5.5×2.1 mm male (output); Voltage support: DC 5V–24V; Construction: PVC outer insulation; Finish: Matte black. Engineered as a maintenance tool rather than a consumer gadget, this timer ensures automatic power interruption and recovery at precisely 72-hour intervals — restoring default routing tables, flushing ARP caches, and resetting stalled PPPoE sessions. It operates silently and invisibly in the background, requiring only one-time physical installation. Best applied to fixed-line broadband environments in the UK where ISPs do not provide scheduled reboot options — particularly useful for users on G.fast, FTTC, or FTTP connections using rented or purchased modems from Sky, Vodafone, or Hyperoptic, where persistent connectivity issues arise after multi-day uptime.
