72cm Circular Weed Control Mat

Two ready-cut circular mats crafted from black non-woven fabric, each 1mm thick, with outer dimension 72cm and inner cut-out 8cm. Designed specifically for perennial planting zones where repeated cultivation is impractical — including orchard floor management, perennial borders, and permanent container groupings. The fabric allows capillary rise of groundwater while resisting upward weed penetration, and its matte black finish absorbs ambient warmth to gently aid early-season soil warming. Compatible with drip irrigation emitters placed centrally or offset, and tested alongside common UK soils (clay loam, sandy silt, peat-based potting mixes). Recommended for use in both domestic and light-commercial horticulture contexts where reliability and repeatability matter.
