Grit levels are clearly differentiated by colour: Light Green (12000), Pink (8000), Brown (6000), Blue (4000), Yellow (2000), Green (1500), and White (10000). Used widely in nonferrous metal finishing, shipbuilding, high-end furniture production, car detailing, and jewellery polishing. The films support both flat-surface lapping and contour-specific sharpening—e.g., wrapping around shaped sticks for carving tools or blades. Their water-based operation ensures cooler, cleaner, and more accurate results compared to conventional dry abrasives.
