These are 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift registers housed in classic DIP-16 packages, designed for straightforward integration into educational, prototyping, and small-scale production circuits. Physical size per IC is 3 x 2 x 2 cm; construction uses rigid PCB material for durability and thermal stability during manual soldering.
