96kHz Optical Coaxial DAC

A compact, USB-powered digital-to-analog converter accepting SPDIF optical and coaxial digital inputs, and outputting analog stereo audio via RCA (L/R) and 3.5mm jacks. Size: 10.5 × 6.5 × 2.8 cm; weight: ~180 g; enclosure: black anodised aluminium alloy — providing robust physical protection, efficient passive cooling and effective electromagnetic shielding. Supports 24-bit PCM decoding at 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz and 96 kHz sampling rates. Features EMI-resistant PCB layout and intelligent signal-squelch logic to ensure silent operation during source gaps or standby. Fully compatible with UK-market devices offering optical or coaxial outputs: Freeview Play TVs, BT TV boxes, PS3, Blu-ray players, HD DVD players, home cinema systems and AV amplifiers. Requires source device to be configured for 2-channel LPCM output — does not decode Dolby, DTS or 5.1-channel bitstreams.
