A light in the darkness

Written as a collection of essays and poems, a light in the darkness describes rowan’s descent into the darkness of sin and what’s left at the end: years of broken relationships and spiritual wandering. finding her way back to peace, remnants of her prodigal life held on as difficult questions arose: would god use her now that she had spent so many years away? searching for a purpose while taking leaps of faith, she discovered the deep love and fulfillment of a cultivated relationship with jesus christ. included within are essays on living with grief, lessons in temptation and doubt, thoughts on heaven, and a reawakening of purpose. providing insights from her own prodigal experience, this book is intended to reach prodigals and encourage those who have long straddled the fence.
