Adjustable Cast Iron Honing Guide

Approximately 93 x 40 mm (3.7 x 1.6 in) in size and weighing around 170 g (6.0 oz), this honing guide is constructed from high-temperature cast iron and stainless steel for long-term structural stability and resistance to corrosion, with a protective lacquer finish. Its core functionality centres on an adjustable projection system that delivers precise, repeatable sharpening angles across multiple tool types. A built-in bearing roller system ensures smooth, low-friction movement along the stone surface — essential for achieving consistent bevel geometry and edge uniformity. Blade retention is handled by a non-slip card slot that holds tools securely without excessive clamping force, eliminating the risk of blade marking or distortion. It is compatible with wood chisels, plane irons, graving knives, carving tools and other flat-blade instruments when used on standard bench stones (whetstone not included).
