Adjustable Clip Candy Thermometer Stainless

Built for reliability in everyday UK cooking, this stainless steel candy thermometer measures 30 cm long and 5 cm wide, with a calibrated scale covering 40°C to 200°C (100°F to 400°F). Its six functional zones — frying, soft ball, firm ball, hard ball, soft crack, and hard crack — correspond precisely to British sugar-stage standards. The adjustable stainless steel pot clip accommodates rim thicknesses from 1.5 cm to 3 cm, securing firmly on common UK cookware including heavy-gauge stainless pans, enamel-coated steel, and traditional copper-bottomed pots. The insulated handle remains cool to the touch even during sustained high-heat use, and the food-grade stainless steel probe resists staining, scaling, and corrosion from repeated exposure to sucrose, citric acid, and hot oil. There are no electronic parts — just direct mechanical reading via a responsive bimetallic coil — ensuring dependable performance whether used weekly for jam-making or occasionally for festive toffee.
