With CARS, you can diagnose cars and make-specific pickups from 1988 onwards. There are 47 different brands in total. With the TRUCKS software package, you can perform brand-specific diagnostics for light and heavy commercial vehicles, buses, and trailers from 1995 onwards. The diagnostic program GENERIC is designed for legislation-based diagnostics, specifically for emission-related trouble codes. GENERIC is included in both the CARS and TRUCKS packages.
