Alloy Miter Bar Smooth Adjustable Pulley

This miter bar uses a high-purity aluminum alloy selected for dimensional stability across seasonal humidity changes typical in UK garages and sheds — resisting warping or swelling that affects accuracy in wooden jigs. Its outer diameter is held to ±0.05 mm tolerance for uniform slot engagement, while the stainless steel pulley features hardened raceways and POM (polyoxymethylene) side flanges to prevent metal-on-metal chatter. Mounting is simplified via pre-drilled 4 mm clearance holes spaced at 100 mm intervals, compatible with standard jig base materials like 18 mm birch plywood or phenolic resin board. Applications span from beginner-friendly crosscut sleds to advanced compound-angle fixtures used in architectural millwork — always prioritising ease of calibration and long-term repeatability.
