This door hinge mortising template is made from high-grade, machined aluminium alloy — lightweight, non-corroding, and dimensionally stable. It adjusts smoothly to fit hinge lengths between 2.5 inches and 5 inches, and works with round-corner hinges (¼ inch and ⅝ inch radius) as well as square-corner types. Suitable for doors up to 1¾ inches thick — not for use on door frames or jambs. The integrated depth gauge enables fast, accurate router depth setting for flush-fit mortises. Package contains 1 hinge jig, 1 straight router bit, 1 self-centring hinge bit, and 1 hex wrench — a ready-to-use solution for accurate hinge installation on timber, plywood, or composite doors.
