Aluminium M42 RMS Objective Mount Ring

High-tolerance M42-to-RMS lens mount adapter made from lightweight aluminium alloy. Features precise 36 mm × 0.5 mm RMS internal threading and external M42 × 1 mm male thread. Dimensions: outer diameter ~42 mm, height ~4.5 mm, weight ~12 g. Intended solely for attaching microscope objectives with M42 threads to RMS-standard equipment such as microscopes, custom optical benches, or third-party RMS-compatible camera adapters. Must be used in conjunction with a separate SLR camera body adapter — not functional alone. Supports manual focusing only; objective focal plane is fixed per magnification (e.g., ~12 mm working distance for 4×, ~2 mm for 20×). Total optical path including any intermediate spacers must remain below 160 mm to maintain correct parfocality. Slight edge softness in image circle is typical and expected with microscope objective projection.
