AM5 Full Fixed CPU Contact Frame

Engineered metal contact frame delivering complete perimeter fixation for AMD AM5 processors. Dimensions: ~52 mm square × 8 mm height (±2 mm); weight: ~35 g. Made from high-duty metal with a non-reflective black or silver surface finish. Supplied with: 1× CPU frame, 1× thin-edge stainless-steel grease scraper, 1× 2.5 mm precision hex wrench, and 1× 1.5 g tube of silicone thermal compound. Functions as a physical barrier during TIM application — holding the CPU firmly in place while preventing grease overflow into socket recesses or onto adjacent PCB areas. This results in cleaner motherboard surfaces, reduced risk of electrical interference from conductive residue, and improved repeatability when mounting air or liquid coolers. Its fixed-mount design also enhances structural coherence between CPU and socket — mitigating vibration-related loosening and supporting stable operation in rack-mounted or mobile workstations.
