A versatile HDMI audio extraction adapter engineered for European home theatre compatibility. Input: HDMI eARC/ARC (HDMI 1.4). Outputs: HDMI (audio-only, supports HD 5.1/7.1 at 720p), optical TOSLINK (5.1), dual RCA (analog stereo), and 3.5mm headphone jack. Supports 24-bit/192kHz PCM, plus AC3, DTS, DD+, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD. Enclosure uses plastic body with metal reinforcement points. Powered via DC 5V/300mA USB supply. Designed to resolve interoperability challenges between newer UK-market smart TVs (e.g., LG OLED, Samsung QLED with eARC) and older AV receivers, soundbars or hi-fi systems lacking eARC inputs. HDMI output excludes video — reducing handshake failures and improving reliability. RCA and 3.5mm outputs accept CEC volume commands from compatible TV remotes. Includes clear LED channel-format indicators for live monitoring.
