Astro Imaging Aluminum Adapter Ring

Engineered for serious astrophotography, this adapter combines functional simplicity with optical performance. Constructed from black aluminum alloy and coated externally to resist oxidation and corrosion, it ensures longevity even in humid or coastal UK environments. Its interior is extinction-treated to absorb stray light rather than reflect it — improving contrast and fidelity in captured star fields and extended nebulae. Composed of two interlocking rings joined by a central M48×0.75mm threaded section, it bridges telescope optical tubes and Nikon F-mount cameras without optical intermediaries. Total weight is approximately 74 grams. Both rings are provided together in the packaging.
