Automatic Rain-Aware Water Timer

This fully self-contained garden watering timer eliminates daily hose management while adapting to actual weather. Its IP65-rated ABS enclosure and waterproof LED display withstand prolonged outdoor exposure, including UK coastal and rural environments. Programming is simplified through a single rotary knob: select one of 9 preset schedules, then adjust duration (5 sec–60 min) and interval (1–30 days). The rain sensor uses physical water contact detection — not unreliable humidity readings — to halt irrigation reliably. Manual override allows immediate watering at any time. It connects directly to 3/4″ taps or adapts to 1/2″ with included fittings, tolerates 0.02–0.8 MPa pressure, and filters incoming water via a durable metal mesh. Operating temperature range is 1–45°C, and power comes from one standard 9V battery (not included), conserved by intelligent auto-sleep.
