Step 2: Keep the device at least 2 cm away from any metal object, then press the power button to turn it on. Note: It is recommended to perform zero calibration before testing. Step 3: Place the probe vertically and quickly onto the surface until a drop sound is heard. The measured value will appear on the screen. Lift the probe at least 2 cm away from the surface before taking the next measurement.
