AV IR Remote Decoder Tester

An essential diagnostic tool for AV professionals working with infrared-controlled devices such as projectors, TV boxes, and media players. Built with white plastic housing and powered by two AA batteries (not included), it features an LCD screen and tactile buttons for intuitive interaction. After a 3-second power-on sequence, it defaults to automatic decoding mode ('A'), scanning for IR activity. Mode selection (A/H/F) is achieved via the 'mode' button, and manual mode (H) supports fine-grained format navigation using dedicated controls. Its sole function is to receive and decode IR signals—offering clarity and confidence when validating remote control health, especially where inconsistent device responses suggest IR transmission issues rather than internal faults.
