Each circuit employs two classic TTL-compatible logic chips — the 74HC573 octal latch and the 74HC164 serial-in/parallel-out shift register — to generate predictable flashing sequences. Power enters at DC9V and is conditioned internally with diodes and capacitors to support reliable operation.
