Black Blue Foam Filter Media Set

Fits Oase BioPress 4000 and PondoPress 5000 pressure filters as direct replacement media. Constructed from dual-density sponge in black and blue colour coding — coarse (black) and fine (blue) layers clearly differentiated for correct installation order. Total set weight approx. 350g. Material is non-toxic, pond-safe sponge with consistent cell structure and long-term water resistance. Delivers reliable mechanical filtration across two particle-size thresholds: coarse foam intercepts heavy solids before they reach the fine layer, preserving its efficiency and extending overall media lifespan. Fine foam then polishes water clarity by capturing sub-100-micron particles often missed by coarse-only setups. Suitable for year-round use in UK outdoor ponds, including winter-cold conditions where rigid or brittle foams may crack. Compatible only with Oase BioPress and PondoPress media filter housings — not suitable for gravity-fed or external canister filters.
